Hello friends! I am super excited to be in this wonderful blog hop with an elite group of crafters!! I would like to THANK Laura Kelly for putting this hop together!
We each received a package with a popcorn box inside! Yes, the red and white striped popcorn box! When I saw it I thought “Things that make you go HMMMMM!” Then BAM!! It hit me like a bolt of lightning! I immediately thought black paint, washi tape, and paper trim! I then went to town!!
Just like the cards in Alice in Wonderland, “painting the roses red” but I was painting the box black! LOL I pulled out some lime green washi tape, and some purple washi tape, Cut two strips placed them on the box, I then cut small purple strips and made stripes on the two pieces. Have you guessed what I am making this box? Ok, here is another hint! I then took my crafty scissors and some black cardstock and cut two BLACK BOOTS!!! Then I took yellow polka dot washi tape and put it at the bottom of the washi tape. I then adhered the boots to the yellow washi, I cut two more black pieces of cardstock and adhered them as cuffs. Have you guessed now? Oh one more hint!!! I took the paper trim and wrapped around the top of the box! One layer orange one layer turquoise and another orange. I took some silver stickles glitter and painted three buttons on the shoes. I added two small burlap bows, a spider to the skirt and the cute Happy Halloween sticker.
