I have been hard at work in Santa’s Workshop to bring you fun projects each and every day! Rudolf the Red Nose Reindeer, has a very shiny nose. And if you ever saw it, you would even say it GLOWS!!! Hi friends, my 9th Christmas Ornament is this cute little guy!

It was super fun to make! Here are the items that you need to make this cute little guy.

  • Plastic Christmas Ornament Bulb
  • Brown Acrylic Paint
  • White Acrylic Paint
  • Black Acrylic Paint
  • Red glitter hot glue stick
  • Gold glitter hot glue stick
  • Hot Glue Gun
  • Black and Gold Ribbon
  • Paper Cup
  • Sticks off of a tree

Now the fun steps to create Rudolf

  • Take the top off of the bulb and pour the brown acrylic paint into the bulb.  Swirl the pain around the inside of the bulb until it covers the full bulb
  • Tip upside down in the plastic cup to get all of the excess paint out of the bulb
  • When the bulb is dry, take your white paint and paint 2 eyes Allow to dry
  • When eyes are dry take your black paint and make the insides of the eyes
  • Plug in your hot glue gun, take your red glitter glue stick and create a nose (If you don’t have red glitter hot glue you can do two things. 1- use red paint and paint the nose on or 2- use a plain hot glue stick and allow it to dry, then paint the glue red. (this gives it the raised nose look)
  • Go outside and break off two little branches. These are going to become your antlers.
  • Empty the red glitter glue stick, and grab the gold glue stick.  Place two gold dots on the bulb and glue on the sticks
  • Allow them to dry put the top back on your ornament, and tie a knot with your ribbon
