{Crafty Chicks Blog Hop}

Wahoooo!! Welcome to the Crafty Chicks Blog Hop!!! We are super dee duper happy that you are hopping with us! We are a group of Creative Gals who met on the WWW and decided to come together and share our passion for paper crafting with you!! Each Month we have a different theme. This month our theme is Thanksgiving/Fall. (Which I am so excited about) If you are coming from the very creative Melissa you are in the right place. Here is my project that I created for you today!!

* I used masking tape on a 9×9 canvas, rumpling the strips as I went. Then I used Orange, Grey, Red and tan paints along with some gold rub n buff. I then created a frame around the quote with my hot glue gun (create this by layering the hot glue) allowed it to dry and applied the gold leaf rub n buff to the glue to make it look like a fancy frame. I then used my distress ink pad on the thankful piece. Hot glue was my friend with the other embellishments.

**This is such a fun technique you should give it a try**

I made this live on USTREAM on Tuesday night using Housecalls By Scrappin Madge November Kit Harvest Traditions, along with the masking tape canvas and paints. I also used some fun fall leaves and a pine cone along with a acorn I just clipped them off of a garland that I have here at my house for decoration purposes. You don’t even notice that they are missing. LOL
