I have a friend on Facebook and her friends daughter is having some health problems. The girl is only 14 years old and needed a little boost. So she thought that it would be fun to ask all of her Crafty friends out there to make a card and send them to her, then she would send the all in a big box to this teenage girl. I commented and said I would love to make this girl a card. Having a teenage daughter whom is 14 myself I can only imagine the up and downs that would go along with these health problems. While I was at my Scrapbook Retreat I made this card and sent it away from good ol’ Altamont, Utah. It feels great being able to use my talent and make someone smile that is having a bad day. I think sometimes we all get so busy in the hustle and bustle of the world that we sometimes forget to do the simple things in life, like mail a card, or tell someone we love them. My challenge to you, is to make a card for someone you love just because and mail it to them. Watch what happens, you will make them smile and the card will brighten their day.
