Get your cup of Candy Cane Coffee, grab your blanket, kick your feet up and be prepared to catch some Christmas Spirit!!!
I am hoping that you came to my blog from Santa’s little elf designer Lynn from Lynn’s Everyday Ideas oIf you want to start at the very beginning be sure to click HERE.  There are many different sponsors for this hop you will not want to miss a thing!!!!

Here is my project for day one!!! I created this fun little Christmas Ornament!

This started as just a glass bulb, I then used some Hazel and Ruby circle stencils. and placed the circle on the bulb. I then sprayed the bulb with some primer.  Allowed to dry and then used some Cherry Red paint and applied two layers of paint.  I then removed the stencil and the clear bulb was exposed.  I took a sand bar and sanded the bulb. I wanted to make this look very vintage! After sanding the bulb I added some Vintage Photo Distress ink with a dabber. This brought the Vintage feel to the bulb.  I then took a sticker and applied it to the bulb. Distressed the sticker too.  I then added some fun lace and tied it in a knot to complete the bulb! I plan on making a whole bunch of these cute little bulbs for my tree. Since the Hazel and Ruby stencils can be used over and over these are super fun to make!

Here is the back side of the bulb…

I hope that you liked my Christmas Ornament that I made today! Be sure that you hop on over to Santa’s other designer elf Beth {HERE}

  1. Beautiful ornament! Love the worn classic feel! I have many like this from grandparents who are no longer with us.
