Farmhouse Kitchen Mason Jar Decor Guest Designer for Canvas Corp.

Hello everyone,  I am very excited to be the guest designer today on the Canvas Corp. Blog!
I would like to start out by thanking  Canvas Corp. for sending me the fabulous goodies to play with.  I will be using the Farmhouse Collection for my project today.  I am going to be honest, when I first saw this line I had many different ways that I was going to use this collection.  However, do you ever just have an Aah Ha moment? When all of the lights come on?  That is how this project came to me. I was driving down the road when the idea struck! It was simply meant to be.  I actually had to pull to the closest Antique shop and purchase an Old Vintage 1954 Cookbook to complete my project.
I know I am leaving you all in suspense mode so let me post a picture of the project so you can see what I am talking about. If you want to see the step by step tutorial on how to create this fun project be sure to check it out on the Canvas Corp Blog HERE!

Now you have an idea of what my project looks like, I can explain what you will need to make this fun project.  I knew that I wanted to make something fun and Vintage for my kitchen.  I picked up this old cookbook and raced home.  Pulling out my Farmhouse goodies I sat down to create this super fun project.

Items you will need:
Canvas Corp. Farmhouse Paper
Canvas Corp. Printed Mason Jar Tags
An An Old (or new) Large hardbound Cookbook
4 Medium size Mason Jars
An old thin belt
Glue Dots
Paper Trimmer
Twine
Scissors
Black Marker
Cutlery

This is a top view of the Cutlery Holder.
Take a look at the Canvas Corp. Blog to see the step by steps!!

I found some fun wooden Cutlery at a local party supply store to fill my mason jars with.  I love how it turned out and it is something that I can leave on my counter for quick snacks (anything to keep me from doing dishes LOL…)

If you would like to use recycled cans instead of the mason jars that could be another option, or you could even use Canvas Corp. other products to wrap the jars in and use for your office or craft room to hold your supplies in.
I hope that you enjoyed my project today!!! Be sure to like my facebook page too!!! Whoop Whoop!!
