National Scrapbooking Day 2015

Hello Scrapbooking Friends!!!! Happy National Scrapbook Day 2015!! The chances of you reading this blog right now must mean that you love to scrapbook. This special day is for all types of Scrappers! You know what I mean, right? There are the peeps that love the 12 x 12 single layouts, Scrappers that love the 12×12 double page layouts, How about those that love the 8.5 x 11 single pages, or even the 8.5 x 11 double pages, Digital Scrappers, Mini Album Scrappers, a mix of both and or ALL! Oh, and we can’t forget about the Pocket Page Scrapper. We all have stories and we all love to tell them. How? By preserving our family memories for generations to come. That is why I love National Scrapbooking Day!!!

I am an avid Single Page Scrapper at heart! It’s my first love! Sure I love doing Mixed Media, DIY, Home Decor and more. But there is just something about documenting my family memories. If I had to choose which type of Scrapper I am I don’t think that I could! My home if filled with 12×12 albums, Mini Albums and Digital albums, each of which tell the stories of The Gillen Gang! The beautiful part about it is that we can sit back kick up our feet and look at them at any given time and reminisce about the past!

What are some of your favorite moments that you have documented through Scrapbooking?

When you scrapbook do you scrap alone? With a large group? Go to Crops? My answer is D (LOL) all of the above! Isn’t it great to crop with friends and family. Why not make memories while you are preserving them? I always have so much fun with my friends. Here are just a few fun memories while cropping!

I am showcasing a fun Camera Mini Album that I created for Create & Craft. It is made out of a matchbox. I have to say this album came together in a Snap!

Creating this cute little Camera was something that I always wanted to do. We all know that the big Rave is Polaroid Pictures! Well I have the cute Fuji camera and love it, but I didn’t have something cute to hold all of those fun little photos in! Well this Matchbox Camera Mini Album does just that!
The ribbon on the side acts as the camera wrist strap, but also is how you open and close this cute little album.
