Hello friends and Happy Friday! Today I am thrilled to share with you a super fun DIY project using the fabulous Deco Art Dazzling Metallic Champagne Gold Paint! With Deco Art metallic paint, it made this DIY a breeze! The drying time was amazing and I only needed to do three coats (only because I wanted heavy coverage).
Starting this project was easy. I cleaned my Candelabra and allowed it to dry over night. I then took a large garbage bag and covered my surface area. I took a sponge and cut it into several pieces (you can use a paint brush if you would like, but I wanted to be able to get to those tight corners). I then poured the Deco Art Dazzling Metallic Champagne Gold paint onto a paper plate and started painting. I painted from the bottom up. Earlier I mentioned that it dries quickly. By the time I was done painting the top the bottom was ready for another coat of paint. After three coats, I knew that this amazing project was exactly what I wanted.
I then went into my craft room and grabbed a little bit of this and a little bit of that out of my shabby chic containers. I turned on some tunes (80’s music) poured me a Diet Coke and went to town decorating this awesome Candelabra.
I decided to give this old Candelabra new life for a decoration in my brothers wedding! It turned out so cute that people asked about it all night. Check it out!
As you can tell I used lace, flowers, straight pins, pearl beads and a beautiful broach. Isn’t this a lovely Shabby Chic Candelabra? 
We decided to place this on the piano with some photos and flowers for everyone to see.
I also created the C & D using some fun adhesive and glitter. Mixing Silver and Gold to create the right color combination.
