Epic Blog Hop: Parks and Recreation

Parks and Recreation Inspired Blog Hop -lg

Welcome to the Parks and Recreation EPIC Blog Hop! I've joined together with 8 other bloggers to create and share crafts inspired by the NBC show, Parks and Recreation, starring Amy Poehler. This fall the show enters it final season! We'll miss Parks and Rec but the show will live on in "craft"!

Check out this great Bracelet  I created, inspired by Parks and Rec Character Ron Swanson:

I love this saying!!! It makes me laugh, and I thought why not laugh all of the time by making myself this cute bracelet? And that is just what I did. To create the image I used the FREE photo editing software PicMonkey and created the image.  I then saved it as a jpeg, opened up Microsoft Word and inserted it as a picture.  I then resized it to 1 x 1.75 and printed it on regular computer paper.

I then took the glass oval cover and traced it around the image.  Taking fine tip scissors I cut the rectangle to an oval.  Next I took Liquid Glass and adhered the image to the cuff bracelet (shown below) and allowed it to dry.  After it was dry I took the Liquid Glass once more and spread a thin layer on the top of the image and placed the oval glass cover to the top of my image applying pressure until it dried (it dried quickly).  And that is it!! Fast and simple yet cute and unique.!
One more look at the fun bracelet! I am in auhhhhh.... at how this project turned out!!! Would you like to win this bracelet? Winning is easy, just leave me a comment and like my Facebook page (located on the side of my blog) and let me know that you did these two things and you will be entered to win!!!! One lucky winner will get this snail mail! Winner will be chosen on Tuesday September 30th announced on my YouTube channel!!

Isn't that the funniest thing you ever saw?
