I was doing a little research about Day of the Dead and stumbled upon this blog. She nailed it right on the head so I thought I would share a little of what she described. Thaneeya’s Art -“In short, Day of the Dead, called Dia de los Muertos in Spanish, is a Mexican holiday that falls on November 1 and 2 of each year. On the Day of the Dead, the boundaries between life and death begin to blur. Men, women and children of all ages honor and celebrate their loved ones who have passed away, participating joyously in a festival that has roots nearly 4000 years old.” Read more about Day of the Dead HERE
I put together this fun collage of some amazing crafters that have either decorated for Day of the Dead, applied some awesome make-up, used Sugar Skulls in Home Decor projects, apparel, and more. Be sure to check them out.

Just a cute pic to leave with you! We dress up as Sugar Skull Witches each year and attend “Witches Night” at Gardner Village check it out HERE. We have a blast. However we were unable to attend this year due to me moving and it being a crazy month but we are totally looking forward to it next year for sure.
